The USATF certified 5k course begins at Middleton Park, continues along Crowfield's scenic paved trail system and ends back at Middleton Park. This is a family event and everyone is welcome. The race is hosted by the Crowfield Plantation Community Services Association (CPCSA). Due to the nature of the course, the number of participants is limited to 400.
Our goal is to raise funds for the Callen-Lacey Center for Children while promoting healthy living within our community. Through the generosity of participants and sponsors, this race contiues to grow, becoming one of the Lowcounty’s premier 5k races.
Proceeds
Proceeds from the race will benefit The Callen-Lacey Center for Children.
The center provides a secure, protective, and nurturing environment for abused, abandoned and neglected children. Since opening in 1998, Callen-Lacey Center for Children of Carolina Youth Development Center has been home to more than eight hundred children ranging in ages from newborn to 17 years of age and is open 24 hours each day throughout the year.
Strollers and Dogs
Everyone is welcome but due to the design of the course, strollers and leashed dogs will only be permitted with walkers.Awards:
Cash awards for the top overall M/F winners. Prize Awards for top overall M/F 2nd & 3rd Place. Age group awards will be given to the top three M/F winners in each division:14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, Masters 55-64, Grand Masters 65+.T-shirts:
Shirt pick up starts at 7:00 am on race day. If no size was marked on your registration form you will be given a large shirt. T-shirts will be available while supplies last for day of race registrations.Early Packet Pickup:
Early packet pickup will be avaibable at the Crowfield HOA office Friday Oct 10th from 2-7PM!
